We provided a safe home for our children to thrive in without jealousy, anger, or resentment. Countless schedules, shared family holidays, dinner dates, movie nights, birthday parties, football games, theatre shows…we all showed up and gave our kids a healthy example of what coparenting can look like. I know that without us both working 100% to make this friendship a priority, it would have never worked. You accepted me as not just a “step” mom but a BONUS mom and always made me feel included and appreciated. You didn’t have to share endless Mother’s Day holidays or milestones with me, but you always did. You are not only my “step wife” but a true friend in my lifetime that I hold much gratitude for. This song!! 🔥 1 year + 2 months, early morning cycle classes, a private trainer and one failed gallbladder lately 🫠 I am finally seeing the difference in myself physically and mentally 🥹 10 out of 10 don’t recommend gallbladder failure but it did help me drop weight faaaaaast so I can’t leave that out of the equation and have yall thinking this wasn’t partially due to being sick af and not being able to eat!
