This was the COLDEST and highkey one of the MOST NERVE WRACKING thing I’ve done in awhile🥶😂 No but seriously, walking down the streets of NYC with my face covered with WHITE sunscreen definitely took a lot of my balls 🥹😭 But sometimes you just gotta say EFF it and do something that makes you feel ALIVE and ADRENALIZING.. If I’m being HONEST.. seeing hate comments when I’m just being my transparent self.. REALLY hurts.. because i gave my heart and it came back rejected.. but im starting to realize.. that this society im desperately begging for approval from.. does NOT care about MY happiness.. they tell us to be ourselves and passionate and unique but the moment we do.. we get shot down for it.. took a LONG TIME getting to this point.. but seriously.. having a smile as my insecurity.. something I ALWAYS do with my girlfriend, friends and family.. can be one of the most debilitating thing.. but I can either choose to fix that or learn to accept it.. and EITHER choice is perfectly FINE.. For me, I wanted to crush it once and for all and decided to move on with getting my aligners to align my crooked and crowded teeth. And although it was really embarrassing to have the lisp and have my mouth look a little more protruded than normal.. I am only human.. and I can only take so many of these hurtful comments.. but the only reason why I’m standing today and still able to express myself as unashamed and confidently as I can is because.. of the family who slowly but surely is acknowledging my love for makeup (very traditional parents) my gf who without hesitation helps me with makeup and is my biggest hype woman, and my friends who’d never try makeup but because support me decide to put on color for and with me.. it’s because of all these amazing ppl in my life I am able to be strong and be myself… So would I be here without them.. no. All the credit belongs to my loved ones and my people.. 💝 No matter what the world says.. stand strong because you got ppl that believe in you when you don’t even believe in yourself.. you got this!! 💕💝

It’s a much deeper insecurity than how I made the video seem — this is something I wrestle with a lot, especially when things happen that hurt my self-esteem. But I always try to remind myself: even though I love makeup, skincare, painting nails, etc., these things don’t define the man I am. They’re just expressions of me. And who I am at my core… is just me. Nothing more, nothing less. 💕 I could never be ashamed of the things that gave me a smile when I felt unloved or alone. They brought light back into my life 🥹 So when I use a good makeup product that makes me feel like the MOST HANDSOME GUY EVER 😝💕 it reminds me to be proud of myself — because I am beautiful and I am enough.
