A lot went into getting my house set up and I did get it all on camera which now that I’m actually starting to really get settled in and finding time to edit it all it’s so cool to see how it all came together. There were so many small businesses involved in the set up process and they all did such a phenomenal job. I had to first have them come out with the Mulcher to clear all the brush and small trees that grew in the yard from not being maintained. Then I had two different tree companies come out to remove large trees that posed a risk of falling on my house during a storm. Going forward I should have no issues with trees come hurricane season. Randy The Dirt Man came and dropped off TONS and TONS of dirt for the dirt pad which is what my house sits on. Tyler is the installer and he’s the one that towed and put my house into place and anchored it in the ground. The anchors are what keep the house from lifting during high wind storms and hurricanes. I was pretty upset I missed them installing the septic because I actually need to repair my moms drain field on her septic and I needed to see how they did it so I could save $2700 but to YouTube university I go 😂 the well was probably the most interesting thing out of all because they brought a huge machine to drill about 100 feet into the earth to hit the water table. That’ll be in the next video along with them connecting the well to the house and the electric. Do you want longer videos for each thing that got done for the house? Lmk! We’re making progress guysssssss I’m so proud of myself. Change has always been hard for me to adjust to it takes so long for me to get back on my routine I just procrastinate so much but when I finally get it done I feel so much relief. My life completely changed a year ago and I haven’t spoken much about it. I went from living as a family in our own house to moving into my mom’s 2 bedroom house with all 4 of my kids. My mom gave me her room and she took my brothers room and my brother moved into the back room. It was NOT fun but it was supposed to be temporary. I had high hopes me and my ex would be able to have a quick and easy divorce so I could buy my house but that’s the farthest thing from what happened. I ended up staying with my mom in one room with 4 kids for about 8 months stressed out of my mind feeling like I was going crazy all while dealing with my personal life being made public on TikTok live daily. Everyday I woke up to new screen recordings of hurtful and untrue things being said about me by my ex. In the midst of it all I swore I had to defend myself I had to let people know what the truth was but no matter what I did or said it didn’t matter. People that don’t know me commenting on my mental house using it against me and calling me an unfit mother and so many other hurtful things. I think people sometimes forget the person on the receiving end is also human and has feelings. I felt like I was actually going crazy. Now that I look back I wish I would’ve ignored it and done things differently but I’m only human and I react on my emotions. I’ve been in therapy with Derrick for almost a year now and I’m so grateful for him. He’s taught me so much and I know now I can be angry AND calm. I can be anything and calm. I know the truth and I don’t have to prove the truth. I’m just so thankful that I’m out of that now and I have my own place to call home and everyday no matter how hard I’m getting it together and turning this house into a home for me and my kids. I know I’ve been a little mia but I’ve really been trying to find a new normal and pull myself from a dark place. I appreciate you for sticking with me and supporting me through it all ♥️🫶🏽
