this was special.. here’s the full story 👇 So this show was in Sierre, Switzerland 🇨🇭at like this castle 🏰 up in the hills. It was for a festival and was a good time. After my soundcheck, my team met up with Eben, who you see playing piano with me in the video, and he asked if he could meet me. My team then relayed this message to me, and we thought it would be special if we did a spontaneous four-hand performance. After Eben agreed to this, the only way and time we could rehearse quickly was RIGHT before the show… 30 minutes before haha. The audience was already seated by this point, so for those who saw us rehearsing, that was really the only time we could run through. Eben was super cool and prepared, so after a few times through “RAIN” 🌧️ we both felt we were ready. It was also very cold that night, so the fact Eben could just play it straight on with cold 🥶, not-warmed-up fingers is another impressive fact. These moments are super special to me — playing four hands or just meeting my audience, especially kids and teenagers. Always a special time!! Yesterday was the 100th show on tour!!!! I can’t believe it 🥹🥹 Me and my team started this journey in November 2023 (with the first show in Paris), and now here we are at the 100th show. there are so many people to thank for this!! First, I want to mention and send my thanks to the audience – to each and every one of you that have come to my shows, either once, twice, or more: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU 🧡🧡!!!!! Seeing your faces every night and feeling the energy you all bring truly gives me so much inspiration and motivation. the greatest reward a musician can receive is knowing their music is being appreciated and felt, and you all show me this gift each show. so truly, thank you beyond words 🥲🥹 Next, I want to acknowledge my incredible, dedicated, hard-working, adventurous, and friendly team. you all make touring so much more fun, and beyond everything – thank you for all your friendship. I’m truly moved. and last night, even though we couldn’t have everyone there, we all had an extra slice of cake for the ones who weren’t there haha 🍰 Buttruly, I’m super thankful for you all!!!
