More info here 🐥🛁➡️ Here’s how we keep our ducklings clean, warm, and safe step by step: 1. Warm water only (around 85°F / 30°C) 🌡️ Ducklings can’t regulate their body temperature like adult ducks : they rely on us to keep them warm. Cold water can chill them quickly and lead to health issues❄️🐣 2. No soap: just clean water 🚿🪶 Ducks produce natural oils that waterproof their feathers. Soap can strip that oil away, leaving them unprotected and more likely to get sick from the cold🧼🚫 3. Always supervise bath time 👀🦆 Young ducklings don’t have fully waterproof feathers yet, so they can get tired fast. Always stay close during swim time. 4. Keep it short ⏱️💧 5–10 minutes is enough. Too long, and they’ll get chilled especially since they don’t dry off as quickly as adults. 5. Provide a resting spot 🏝️🐥 They need a little island or perch to hop onto when they’re tired. It’s a must-have ducklings love to swim but need somewhere safe to pause. 6. Drying time matters 🧺💨 After their bath, we gently towel-dry them, then place them in a warm, quiet drying space. We use the @PetSnowy SMILE Pet Dryer, and it’s been a total game changer. The soft airflow and cozy design help them feel calm and safe they’ve even fallen asleep in there 😴💕 ✨ Bonus: It’s not just for ducklings I use it for my dog and adult ducks too. It saves time, keeps everyone warm, and works great across different animals. 7. Only return to the brooder when fully dry 🪶🛏️ Make sure they’re 100% dry and fluffy before heading back. Damp feathers in a cool space can make them sick. This routine keeps our ducklings happy, healthy, and cozy 💛🐣 Watching them enjoy their tiny spa day is always a highlight of the week #SMILEPetDryer #petdryer #petdryerbox #petsnowy #smarthome #petcare #bathtime #PetsOfTikTok
