Pull ups are the hardest and most advanced, while chin ups and neutral grip pull ups are easier because they use more muscle groups to pull yourself up. In a neutral grip pull-up, your palms face each other, while in a chin-up your palms face you. In this video I am doing neutral grip pull ups. Neutral grip pull-ups activate all three muscles in the arm (biceps, brachialis, and brachioradialis) more evenly than other grips. Chin-ups activate the biceps and pectoralis major more than pull-ups, while pull-ups activate the lower trapezius more.
